About the role

We are hiring on behalf of a Manchester born beauty brand famous for their staple products, they are in a pivotal stage in their growth with NPD launches taking place this year and exciting collaborations. They are looking for a Social Media Strategist who is heavily weighted on social development of social platforms as well as a strong background in team management and building.

Here is what you will typically do within your role:

  • End to end strategy planning of all NPD launches
  • Producing full 3, 6 and 12mth strategy plans for the TikTok platform.
  • Taking full ownership of the Social Media function within the brand.
  • Create end to end strategy plans across all social media platforms year round.
  • Ensuring cohesion throughout all platforms, content, and campaigns.
  • Working closely with the affiliates and influencer manager to boost high performing campaigns.
  • Working with your affiliate manager to ensure paid content campaigns and guidelines are met.
  • Managing department budgets to maximise brand ROI.
  • Driving key brand community within all platforms.
  • Putting engagement and community growth at the forefront of the brand.
  • Staying ahead of trends whilst looking at new and innovative ways we can be ahead of the industry with our unique placement in the beauty space.
  • Working closely with TikTok to ensure top development and growth.
  • Brining innovative and adaptive ways to be at the forefront of TikTok.
  • Reporting into the General Manager.

What will you need to succeed:

  • Experience working with TikTok Shop.
  • Track record of building TikTok social channels and content creation.
  • A strong growth mindset, being able to quickly adapt to changes and be proactive with implementing direction.
  • Impeccable eye for what the customer wants and who the brands community.
  • A natural flare for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Seeking new opportunities for the brand to capitalise on new trends and platforms.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset is key.
  • Keen to get stuck in and take ownership of outcomes.
